Today I found out that 'The Mystery of The Colour Thief' has been  longlisted for the Branford Boase Award, which I'm absolutely thrilled about!

There are some amazing titles on the list, including 'Me Mam, Me Dad, Me' by Maclolm Duffy, which I got so stuck into, that I read it in a day.

The Branford Boase Award was set up to reward new writers and their editors. The award is made annually to the most promising book for seven year-olds and upwards by a first time novelist. The shortlist will be published on the 1st of May, 2019 and the winner will be announced on 27th June at a ceremony in London. I'm so excited to be longlisted alongside my wonderful editor Fiona Kennedy from Head of Zeus.
